Who has a detailed wiring schematic for the light switch ?

-Lg. Red Power wire to be exact,

need to know where it goes from switch, and is anything else powered by it ?

Nothing else is powered by it. It connects to what the diagram called the "battery fusable link".

Does that mean it terminates at the fuse box ?

I still don't understand why they cut the orig. wire !

Why not fix the problem or what could have been the problem ?

No it didn't go to the fuse box - it went tt a fusable link. I have no idea where the fusable link is but I bet you it fried and that is why they bypassed it.
