I need some measurements please.

Can someone please meausure the height of your fender well with a 4/6 drop and if someone can measure the same with a 2/4 drop. I would appreciate it very much. I am trying to debate if I should drop the rear 2" more or raise the front 2" more. Thanks in advance.

Re: I need some measurements please.

Since tire size effects fender lip measurements from the ground it should be measured from hub center to fender lip, With that in mind my front is 13 1/4" with 4" drop. I can't give a accurate rear measurement since my rear openings have been altered.....

Thanks Restrorob. What size of tire do you have? Mine are 235/75R15.

If any one else can get a measurement of the rear that would be awesome.

My front measures about 14 1/2" from lip to hub center.

I'm running 215/65R15 up front with 26" diameter, Slightly smaller than the 295/50R15's out back @ 26.61......

My 215's rub the fender lip if I pull into or out of a raised parking lot too fast......

I vote for dropping the rear if you don't have rub issues on the front !

At the height the front is now I feel like I have to slow down when there is a dip in the road so it doesn't bottom out. I can only imagine if I am doing 50+MPH on the freeway or interstate if I bottom out what could happen. Also at this point there is no more then 1/4" between the LCA and the rim. I was wanting to put at least a 17" rim but the more I think about it I would like to stick with 15" preferably the 454 SS rims. If I put the stock spindles then there would be no issues with the 15" rims and the front and rear would be level or at least should be. Right now there is about 2" difference from front to back.
