anyone try to paint these rims. id love to paint them black and put them on my truck. if so id like to see some photos.

Anyone? Have you thought of using powder coat instead of paint?

On my 04 2500Hd they were pealing so this summer I had them soda blasted and then recleared. Cost me $50 a wheel at a local body shop.

I looked into powdercoating and was told that powdercoating does not like to stick to the aluminum on a truck that is being used daily and in mud and gravel.
