Project Dash Pad

1986 Chevrolet C-10

The dash pad that came with my truck was cracked to hell. Can you guys tell me of a place online that sells GOOD REASONABLE dash pads for my 86'?? I have been doing research and saw that they have "urethane" & "vinyl" dash pads available for my truck. Also, can I install a different "year" dash pad besides the ones specifically made for 80's? Possibly an older model C-10 dash?????:waah:

According to my catalog the years are divided like this: 73-78, 79-80, 81-91. I think that 73-78 didnt have the VIN on the dash. My 75 and 77 both have it inside the driver door on cab. 79 and up put the VIN up by the windshield. Difference between 80 and 81 must have something to do with the body change. Classic Ind. and LMC both sell dash pads. Im sure some other also.

I have a couple original GM dashes still in the box.
I also have the vinyl skinned ones ONLY.
