Noob question-Did they not make a 67-68 Blazer/Jimmy?
Please excuse my ignorance but I see a page for 69-72 Blazer/Jimmy and a page for 67-72 'Burbs. Did they not make a 67-68 Blazer/Jimmy?
I have decided that I want a Blazer/Jimmy for my retirement years (will take me that long to acquire it due to a hungry EX), for my wife and the lil guy to enjoy with me, and thought it would be nice to have a 67 (year I was born). In the info gathering stage for now. Posted via Mobile Device |

First off, Welcome to the board! its good to see another Guy from MA on here
and to answer your question; no, chevy did not start production of the blazer until 1969. |

Make your own 67. The 67 front clip will bolt on to a 69-72 Blazer of Jimmy just fine.

Welcome to the board.
They didn't start making the Jimmy until 1970. First 2wd Blazer was in 70 too. |

Was that model year 1970 or actual 1970 meaning model year 1970 1/2 or 1971?

First blazer was a 1969 and all 4x4. First jimmy was 1970 and first 2wd blazer was 1970 as mentioned. Not sure of the actual production date for the first one.
