New Carb
Howdy,
I finished swapping my old E-Performer 600 for an E-Performer 750. Here a some before and after shots. Before: http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMAG0034.jpg After: http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMAG0037.jpg http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMAG0038.jpg The truck runs much smoother and usually kicks on after 1 or 2 cranks. So far, no peddle pumping required. Enjoy! |
Re: New Carb
BTW, I realize a stud is missing. The PO had drilled out the mounting hole on the other carb and used a standard bolt instead of a stud.

Re: New Carb
Why'd you step up to a 750? I always thought that was a bit much for a 350.
|
Re: New Carb
Not a 350. It's a 355 with flat top pistons, scat crank and rods, big muther thumper cam, and full exhaust. Plus, it was on sale for $200 @ Jegs.
The motor would disagree ;) |
Re: New Carb
well What did you do with the old one :)? 750 thunder series Worked great for my 350 in my camaro. It was a stock 350 with performer intake and hedman headers.

Re: New Carb
Well, yeah... for 2 bills I'd have gone that route as well!

Next thing in line is to upgrade the dizzy with a MSD HEI upgrade kit along with MSD wires. Trash that Accel junk. |
Re: New Carb
I see you have headers. What do they run down to? MSD has alway done me well. well instead of letting that carb rot away you should send down my way :) I'll reimburse you on shipping!
