Blower Motor

99 OBS Tahoe.

The blower motor does not want to work from time to time. If I knock on the back of the motor a couple of times it kicks on. It seems to be happening more frequently. Is this the sign of needing to replace the blower motor?

The motor could very well be on it's way out. But your issue could also be a bad contact. If you look towards the top of the blower motor, you'll see a 1 wire connection. Take the plug off and clean the male terminal on the motor and the female plug. That might fix your problem!
