302 ci. I-6
Is there anyone out there running a 302 Ci. in a 1/2 ton AD Chevy, I have been asked some questions on outside deminsions of the engine, and don't have the answers

I don't have the answer for you but----There is a 37ish Chevy coupe with a straight 6 302 and a turbo on it. It absolutely cleans clocks at the track.

Its Sunday afternoon here now but I can measure up the 270 out of my 56 GMC sitting on the work shop floor tomorrow for ya, same external size.

I know the crank for a 302 is about 4 inches longer so It would be a tight fut in an AD

Measured up the 270ci this morning & I'm pretty sure its the same as the 302.
Total length from fan to bell housing 33" height 27.5" |
