clicking?
 
I hear a clicking down by the front left hub....wheel bearing? last time i had this click i tightned the lug nuts and it went away...not this time...i just put the new axles in it a month ago and did i put the front hubs together wrong? the 4x4 works so i did something right lol

you sure its not the speedo cable clicking? my friends truck did that and it baffled him for the longest time

im pretty sure, its only when i turn left or right....on a side note....400 to 377???? never heard of anyone destroking a engine

ever heard of the dz302? its a factory destroked engine back in 69 big pistons small stroke yeilds a high rpm engine

is your u joints clicking maybe on the axle?

my dad had a 69 camaro with the 302 in it, and ill check my caliper...that makes sense...i dont think its a ball joint up there....they are pretty new

I had the same problem...clicking...for me it was the darn wheel weights on the 15 inch wheels rubbing on the brake caliper every time it hit that point on the wheel.....

What rims do you have on the truck? I experienced a noise once with my stock rallys, and it turned out to be the center cover had worked it's way loose. Tightened the screws holding the center to the wheel, and was good to go. Hope you track it down, whatever it may be.

on the 88 it was the front hubs changed them it went away
only happened at slow speeds

i got the mickey bullet hole looking rims...not sure if they are mickeys or not just giving you a good idea of what i got, and that happened before with my ol center caps on these...that was the first thing i checked
