Master Cylinder Upgrade??

I have heard that there is a master cylinder (Corvette?) with a 1-1/8" bore that will bolt in our trucks. I did a non-power front disk conversion with prop. valve a few months ago and I now need a new M/C. I found this at Summit:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RS...e%7c5.7L%2f350
.
Anyone know whether this will work? If not, then what?

Are you replacing the MC because it went bad or are you trying to correct a problem? 1 1/8" bores are usually used with power boosters and smaller bores with manual brakes. High pedal leverage can allow larger bores, but there are other factors to consider for correct bore.
The Summit 1 1/8" Corvette MC says it has a deep brake rod hole (normally used for manual), yet it says it is for power brakes.
If you have high pedal pressure, you might consider a 1 1/16" or 1" MC.

the 1.1/8 come with a spacer to use for power brakes and you remove it for manual. We have used many of these on manual brakes and they work fine.

While this one sounds like it is fine to use, the problem comes in when you are trying to move more fluid with the same amount of pressure.
There is volume, and pressure in the hydraulic world. When you increase the volume, it takes more effort (from your foot) to create the same line pressure.
