More '84 1/2T ?
 

Another problem came up with my buddy's new to him '84 Chevy. Will be his daily driver for awhile. Been working engine, plugs and carb issues which we got fixed. Now on to smaller issues such as wiper arms. His driver side arm has no spring beneath it to hold tension against the windshield. Seemed to be same type and style as my '71 4x4 which I had several spares. Nope, to short by about 1 1/2" . Going to a 'yard tomorrow to find a replacement which got me to thinking which in itself is bad sometimes. My '99 Tahoe has the fold out wiper arms which fold away from the w/shield. Makes it nice to clean the bugs and such. Will that style fit the serrated wiper knobs on the '84? Any one ever tried that replacement mod? Would be nice for my '71 4x4also.
