First Thread...68 SWB SS Build

Got a donor car for my engine and trans, sold the old engine trans combe for it. 1994 Caprice with an LT1 350 and 4L60E. This oughta be fun when it is done...LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go yet...will be posting stuff in this thread as I go. Gotta rebuild the motor (factory stock with cam), freshen the trans (stock with 2200rpm converter is the plan for now), and do a whole lotta conversion on the wiring harness, disc brakes up front, hydro boost booster and pedal assembly from a 73-87 pickup, fuel system conversion, tune the computer......omg. I ahve a lot of work to do. Will post pics of the donor car and pickup soon...

sweet! most caprice guys wont admit it, but the 94 LT1 was the fastest. I know the HP is way more than the estimated 260. I have several of them, and my 94 is the fastest of the bunch, its a great engine. Can't wait to see how you make it all fit.

Not to a$$ up the thread, but if the caprice is any good, (not rusty) put it in CL, there are tons of people looking for parts from those years.

Thanks for the advice. It is a little rusty, but not too bad. Yes, the 94's were the fastest. :) It is a maroon woody with cloth interior. Nice car. I won't be using anything in the fuel system or any interior parts. Just the engine and trans.

Its a woody wagon? The fuel tank, and the rearend are hard to come buy from wagons. Know a guy searching for a gas tank right now in MA.

Email me i'll see if anyone if looking for parts down your way in the national club.
