Where to buy?
I need new leaf springs BADLY for my 82 1500 LWB... I can't find anywhere less than $500 and that seems like a pile of money for ten pieces of hardened steel.... Where is the deal?!!!

Re: Where to buy?
When I needed them for my 72 I had them made locally. Stop by an alignment shop or a big truck shop and ask them where you can buy leaf springs.

SD Truck springs.

Re: Where to buy?
Google "Edmonton, AB springs" With a few calls you'll shake loose a good local truck and trailer spring supplier. They'll build up what you need locally for a good price.

Re: Where to buy?
Google Husky Springs. I don't what rear ones cost, but the 4 leaf heavy duty front ones were like $250 for the pair.

Re: Where to buy?
Did you check with Standen's? I haven't needed leaf springs made for a number of years, but they were the best deal I found here in Calgary, and they were even able to replace them right away. The whole process, from me walking in to driving out with new leaves on my truck was about 3 hours.
