Newbie

Hi everyone. My name is J.J. and I have not built ANYTHING since about 2004, but hope to start on my 65 project soon. I buy and sell cool rides for a living, and had the good fortune of getting a couple cool rides from Dino from the board.

I have a serious love for old rides, and a personal fetish for old trucks. The last two that I did were a 63 Chevy and a 52 Ford, and I will post pics as soon as I figure out where to put them!

I have had the good fortune to buy/sell some of the nicest pickups out, and probably 80% were Chevy's.

I look forward to watching all of you and your builds, with admiration, and quite a bit of jealousy! Perhaps it will get me motivated to do another build sooner than later!!!

These are some shots of my HELL CAMINO from about 2008. It was a sick bagged Camino I finished in porcelin white bathtub enamel. Cleaned it at car shows with comet and a sponge! Should have watched the old timers freak out!!! http://thumb14.webshots.net/t/55/555...4weXUNv_th.jpghttp://thumb14.webshots.net/t/55/555...4RldXzS_th.jpghttp://thumb14.webshots.net/t/62/562...4svdsrv_th.jpg

Finished that car in about 2003-2004, and just kept it around cuz it was just a bag of fun to drive. Real Lake pipes straight from the headers. Sold it to a guy in California who painted it gloss black, put it on Boyd's wheels, and then wondered why he couldn't sell it. Sometimes less is more.
