factory option numbers
does anyone know what the factory option numbers for a 307 and a sag 3 speed in 68 are ?
I know a 350 was some thing like LS9 and the Trans was M49 |
Re: factory option numbers
They weren't optional. I'm sure they had rpo codes... But they were base equipment so the codes will be a little hard to find

Re: factory option numbers
KC, The 307 code is L14. I'm not sure about your 3 spd. You can try here http://www.rpocodes.com/ or here http://outintheshop.com/options.html look in the m's like m15 through m19.
Sense your engine and tranny were standard they won't be on the SPID, I don't know about the firewall. On the upper pass. side of the firewall was usually the model number, if that helps. You did a great job on your 307 man, can't wait till you fire it up.:burnout: |

Re: factory option numbers
Don't know where you would find that except in a GM parts catalog or possibly a protecto plate. Post exactly what you do have (SPID) and hopefully someone has the same truck with documentation. Even the dealer invoice won't show RPO codes for standard equipment.

Re: factory option numbers
I scrubbed my factory markings off before I even knew what they were about. I can read some numbers. I had a post earlier but wanted to know if Some one could help me out again. All I have so far is the 541 AD CE10934 B In that order starting in the middle. I just have manual brakes so maybe be is all there was. I might but the motor number on just for fun
