Factory correct grille colors for 68 chevrolet c10
 

Trucks been repainted by po. Its an early 68 model. I cant tell that there are holes in the fender for the trim, but maybe a few holes on the underside of hood? Bumper was white along with grille trim when I got it (like i said, repainted by po).

what was correct??

It was low optioned but DID have the chrome side mouldings.

My lower grille hoop got smooshed and so did the lower insert, im thinking of a quickie repaint but wanna paint it somewhat correct color combo (rattlecan)

john if your truck didnt have the eyebrow trim then it came with blue and since it was C10 it had white molding instead of chrome for the grille and headlights. you were just lucky enought to get the trim.

so what color should the inserts be

ive heard black/white/argent silver for a 68 grille inserts

and white/argent silver on the grille itself

i'll look carefully and see if there are holes for eyebrow trim im pretty sure there isnt though.

its a really really early 68

if the grille was white it almost always came with black inserts. if the truck had white grille trim it probably had white inserts in it if the rest of the grile was a color. so i would do either blue or white inserts with a blue grille. and whte trim

That metal card would be the Protecto-plate.
