Traction Bars

Looking for some traction bars for my trucks. I've had them on plunty of my cars and they always did a good job. I was wondering if anyone is using them and which brand they are using. I am having a hard time finding some for my 72 C10 with coil springs.

If you have a coil-spring rear suspension then you have the best traction bar available... trailing arms

move front of traction bar,,, um I mean trailin arm up. Flipping the brackets upside down should work.
if your wrapping your trailing arm like a leaf spring you have other more serious problems :)

Traction bars control wheel hop caused by spring wrap on cars and trucks with leaf spring rear suspension .....dunno what they might do on a rear with coils other than just hang there lookin' sorta useless.

As said, they are of no value on a coil rear. If you have wheel hop, I would start with new bushings in the trailing arms and the panhard bar.

Cannot agree more. Get everything up to new as a baseline. However you might consider replacement (C20 or tubular) arms or welding reinforcement plates along each arm to tie the halves together. If you have lowered it remember to correct the pinion angle and center the axle. An adjustable bar might be the way to go. Be it old school or not air bags in the coils work too.
