ok im puting a 97 vortec 5.7 into my truck with a th350 transmission an the th350 flexplate dont work an the 97 vortec flexplate....anybody got any info that can help me? thanks

The flexplate for the Vortec engine will work fine with a TH350. If your going to install the EFI from the Vortec 5.7 the your going to have issues with the PCM cause it operates the transmission in the late model truck. Why not install the 4L60E behind the new engine and get all the advantages of the EFI driveline?

thanks for the info...but i got a flexplate yesterday. got motor brand new for free didnt come wth a trans and i swaped it to carb.
