Re: 1970 cst
Looks like a realy nice starting piece. Do you have a basic idea of what you want to do and in what order?
Good luck with your build! |
Re: 1970 cst
This weekend I'm stripping the inside, and starting some body work. I'm planning on giving the frame and suspension a little tlc (paint and bushings). Disc brake conversion up front. I have already replaced the engine (a vortec 350 converted to carb), and the wheels i got recently. A complete paint job is planned, inside and out, going with med spiral grey met. which is on the late model Chevy's.

How's it going?

Re: 1970 cst
Found a 72 frame with a rear end and all the brake parts for the front. Lucky me!

Things are going slow, got my new fuel tank in. Going to mount it under the bed soon.

Re: 1970 cst
Hey guys, i just got through swapping out the front spindles. Got the rotors, calipers, etc done. My question is about the brake lines, they have hoses that use my 70 steel lines and connect to the 72 calipers. Will the smaller steel lines be enough to support the disc brake, or should I replace the hard line?
