'86 GMC Jimmy 350/700R4 - Intermittent Start

Numerous times a day, when I turn the key, dash lights light up but no starter activation.

I replaced the started initially, problem still exists. I'm sure it's electrical in the harness but I just can't put my finger on the source... thoughts??

almost sounds like your ignition switch isnt getting fully actuated or is on the way out.
