Hello everyone,

I bought my '79 Chevy Crew Cab about a year ago. I've been looking around on here and finally decided to join and introduce myself. :) It was an Arizona truck until 2006 when the PO brought it up to Wisconsin. Somewhere in the next 4 years until I bought it he had it repainted and new seats put in. It's in pretty good shape, but there's work that needs to be done. It has a rebuilt 350 in it that runs strong. When I got it home I put new plugs, front brakes, new K&N filter, Herculiner and did a general clean up. I have recently put it away for the beautiful winter in Michigan. :lol: I ordered a new dash pad, air vents, arm rest pads, taillight assemblies, speedo cable, shift indicator, and some other small parts and pieces to spruce it up. I'll be a busy guy come spring time! I want to make it into a nice driver that I have no problem taking out filling the bed up with anything or towing a small trailer. I would like to put a 454 in it with a 4 speed someday, but that is down the road a ways. :( I don't have too much knowledge of these trucks, but have always wanted one. :metal: This is a great resource for these trucks and I can't wait to learn more! :chevy:
