Air ride questions! :D
 

Got this 86 from my cousin a gew months back, it was.ca lready bagged and the one thing I dont like is there wasnt any gauges on it, I want to order a digital unit for the air pressures but where do I hook the senders? Anyone have any pics of where you get your reading? Would be very helpful!

Also he used 1/2 inch airline to the bags...think thats overkill?

You can read the air on the tank itself for main system pressure and after the valves for each bag. this keeps you from having to run wire all over the truck. Kieth

The air pressure line would have to run after the 1st valve off the tank...anywhere after it. You're going to have either plumb in another "T" fitting for the line to the gauge or you can replace the "T" fitting currently in place with one that is tapped for a gauge port. I'm not sure if you can just drill and tap the one on it now, but maybe someone else can say if that's ok which would make it the cheapest and simplest route.

Yea, I figured the main tank I can just replace the gauge, and thanks! I didn't want to disassemble it to put a t in but I guess im going to have to! :/

Well, they sell PTC T's as well...but I'm not sure if they have 2) 1/2" ends and 1) 1/8" ends...if they do, you can do this in the line instead of in the fittings.
