Well Rene it looks like you are the only person who has found a good running engine. I will be talking to you more right after Christmas.

I have 3 250'3 and a 292 but Im sure the shipping from the east coast would be prohibitive. But let me know if your interested at all. 1 is in a 70 p/u 1 is in a 71? nova 1 is from a 68 p/u and the other is in a 67 p/u havent heard that one run but its a target master motor unsure of the milage.

Just for fun what are your asking prices before shipping?

Just for the sake of argument I'd figure $250 for 250's and if the 292 ran good ( Id have to get it started up to know) $300

Hey Ryan my plans are to swap in a good running 6 and then make an attempt at rebuilding my 292. And you know a guy who might have what for sale, a v8 or 6?

Re: WTB: Good running 250 or 292

I thinkin I am going to sell this 350, but like I said the bottom end is a little tired and you would need an intake manifold, carb, water pump, fuel pump etc...probably not worth it right now especially if you wanna rebuild the bottom. And oh yeah did I mention the heads are off a smogger.

I want to do a straight six in the 63 so I need to free up my engine stand (and find a six to build:lol:)
Happy hunting and good luck brotha!

Hey thanks man I appreciate the encouragement. There is a 250 here in Lodi for sale but it the guy selling it knows nothing about it. I went and took a look at it. It turns over by hand but other than that its a gamble.

Ok cool I would like to hear it run before we pull it. Do you have an engine hoist?
