Hey ppl...just joined the site last night and got my account approved today. A guy on c10forums.com recommended that I check this site out. So i thought i'd check it out and it's pretty kool.
Anyway...I got me a 1974 Chevy C10 fleetside longbed for $400. My cousin in law had it parked at his dad's house for over 4 years and i asked him if he'd sell it to me and surprisingly he did. I've had it for a year now and i'm slowly fixin on it. It's got a 350 with a 350 tranny. So far i got an edelbrock air cleaner, grant/apc steeing wheel, k5 blazer seats, suburban console, pioneer cd player, rally wheels, fog lights, replaced the rear bumper, 2.5 inch exhaust with thrush turbo muffler, gave it a tune up and some other little things. She's running ok. Could do with a carb overhaul and i wanna convert to hei. Im gonna keep fixin on it until i get her how i want her.

Thanks guys...right now im considering a votec swap sometime in the future. for now im gonna lower it 3/6, convert it to floor shift, swap out my distributor for hei and get some headers. also i want to get a dual exhaust setup and would like some smooth wheels for it too. i dont want a show truck..just a decent daily driver. i want to get the ratrod look...flat black paint with red and white pinstriping. needs a little body work since it does have some rust and dents.
