Largest tires on stock height?

Was wondering if anyone had an idea as to how big of a tire a 1995 chev S10 at stock height can handle.

2wd, don't want to put a lift on it because it is 2wd, but would like some larger tires.

Tall, nothing wider than 8-9 inches.
