NP205 leak
So I have found that my speedo adapter leaks gear oil out the speedo cable area. Did this on the last one too before I replaced it too. So I gues the question is this, is there a seal or gasket or something supposed to be between speedo adapter and transfer case? Would love to solve one more of the leaks on my k5. The list is long :waah:

Re: NP205 leak
Here's a link to a thread made by Greg72 called TECH: Fix Your Leaking NP203 or NP205 case... that I saved. I haven't tried it yet, but maybe it'll help you. Let us know the outcome.

Re: NP205 leak
I have had some stop leaking by wrapping the threads with Teflon.

Re: NP205 leak
I just happen to work at chevy and ordered one up not to spendy either. Was $20 bucks my cost. I cant wait to make one more leak go away. Now if only I could get the hard top to stop leaking:waah:
