Wiper washer motor issues...
so I am progressing on my 72 K20....all of the paint is done, I got her new wheels and rubber, the fuel tanks are back in.....now I have this punch list of little crappy issues to deal with.
I am used to vehicles that have an electric motor that pumps washer fluid to the nozzles on the windshield, but I can't find one on this truck, so I am looking at the wiper motor....does it have a mechanical pump that handles the fluid, or am I totally dense and missing something? The wiper motor works fine, I just can't any dang washer fluid to squirt out. Thanks for the help in advance....and the 1967-69 K20 (from my other thread) may be finding it's way home at the end of this week...still no photos though - you guys will be the first to see them ;) |
Re: Wiper washer motor issues...
The washer pump is attached to the wiper motor- and it is electric.
It should look like this http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...e&apwid3MKaO4d |
Re: Wiper washer motor issues...
And they all suck, if you want it to work put one online out of a late 90 chevy truck.

Re: Wiper washer motor issues...
We have always put an after market one on our trucks and operated them with a toggle switch, most parts stores carries them. They are made by Anco.
