Frame Questions

Im in the process of tearing down my 66. I have taken the front end off and I have a question about the frame. It look likes the PO tried to tow the truck by part of the frame and has bent it. My question is will I need to replace the section or will it be ok to leave it be.

replace it, i have one if needed. Mine was just like that, I just bolted in the new one.

Apparently this cross member is a magnet for idiots! Mine has the same problem but I got a replacement from a member here.
