Floor hump switch question
I have a 64 C10 with a 4 speed granny and a removable high hump . I Switched it over to a turbo 350 tranny, will the auto trans clear if I switch the removable pan to a low hump? If so I found a 60-63 donor with a removable low hump. Will The 63 front section that is spot welded that much be changed along with the removable panel fit my 64 flloor and firewall ok?

Re: Floor hump switch question
I have a turbo 350 in a 63' with a low hump, unless the low hump wont bolt in without changing the front section you could just patch the high hump and save yourself the trouble, I think the front sections are diffrent between the 60-63 and 64-66 but not positive about this.

Re: Floor hump switch question
the front sections are the same 60-66, but they are specific to low hump, or high hump, so to change to a low , you will need the front section (drill the spots) from the other truck

Re: Floor hump switch question
I replaced that in mine and i went from the low one to the tall one to clear my 350 turbo. I also drilled the spot welds and spot welded it back in. It's a PIECE OF CAKE.:bowtie:

If you figure this out and want to sell the high hump, please let me know.

Re: Floor hump switch question
If I remember right it cleared but I wanted plenty of room. Thus putting in the larger hump. When I got it from the salvage 20 years ago, the guy said that in 25 years at the business it was the first time he had sold one of these.
