Any difference in frames?

Are there any differences in the '67 short fleet and the '68 short step frames?

Re: Any difference in frames?

67's are flat where the steering box mounts, Some 68's had raised areas around the bolt hole and a dimple for a power steering box, 67's did not have the upper frame rail under the engine mounts trimmed like the 68-72's did, other than that they are pretty much the same

The only difference I know is that the '67 does not have the dimple for the steering box and most '68s do.

Didn't some frames have a bend over the rear axle and others were straight?
