How to find the original
 
I have looked at the back threads and posts cant find How to find the Original owner of my 70 blazer. Is their a web site that covers that ? My local dealership was no help [ my pocket knife is older than most the people that work there]. Any help would be grateful thanks

The DMV might be a place to look. They would be able to track titles.

I don't think CARFAX can do vehicles older than 1981.

Sometimes if you ask nicely the DMV can do a title search for a small fee. Some states do it and some don't. Also if you know someone at the police department they can do the same with your VIN.

It's been a long time since I've done it, but I always tried to verify the history on our classic cars as it adds some value in the collector market.
