That's a great find, and I'm not trying to stir the pot, but something is up with the woodgrain trim. The weathering is not consistent between the side trim and the rear tailgate trim. What does it mean? I don't know, probably nothing, but I can tell you that the tailgate woodgrain trim has seen more than 7 years of sunlight (suposedly stored since 1977 in climate controlled facility), and the side trim is posibly newer replacement. Again, beautiful Blazer. I just like to over-analyze the "survivor" trucks that pop up every now and then while secretly wishing they were mine!

You got a good eye man. I thought the tailgate band was kinda weird too. You don't think 7 years under a carport would do that?

I wish it was mine too. I love this thing. It truly looks like a survivor. Not many of them left anymore. You sure don't see rust free Blazers very often.

I like it a lot, but why are the doors misaligned? Could be poor factory fit-up. Could have something to do with possible replacement side trim as mentioned earlier.

Regardless, it's a great truck. I don't think I could ever fork over $13K for it even if the story is 100% true, but it's still a nice truck.
