69-70 grill
 

Could someone post a pic of the difference between a 69-70 inner grill? I read on here 70's were harder to find.I was thinking it was a painting difference.thanks in advance.:smoke:

Wow! that shows it pretty clearly. Were 69 inserts originally an aluminum color. Most appear black,probably faded.

Does anyone know the paint color/paint code for the inner grille and the letters?

the 69 is the one that is hard to get, the 70 is generally sold as a 69 but it has the depressed sections that have the black"bars" in it. The NOS units dont have the "bars" painted but they are there.

anyone know the actual color of the inner grille and letters on a 69? i'm restoring my grille and want to get it the right shade of black.
