8.8 rearend help.
 

I have 2 explore 8.8 rearend I need help with to ID, I have the tag numbers first is a 93 -----s629E 3l73 88 3h11, ...
Second one is 94 s622D 327 88 4D14.....
anyone have any information on this rears, like gears?

i put a 8.8 in my suburban. hope this gives you some help.in the 1993 the s629e= plant code. 3L73= 3.73 gear ration. the L in 3L73 is a traction loc which is fords limited slip rear end. 88=means 8.8 rear end. 3h11 is 3=1993 h=august 11 is the 11th day.in the 1994 s622d is another plant code. 327 is an open diff 3.27 axle ratio. 88 = 8.8 rear end. 4d14 is another date code 4=1994 d= april 14=14th day
