Help finding weatherstripping

Can anyone recommend a company or website to buy weatherstripping? Looking to replace the weatherstripping around the doors on my 67 c10, there are so many options on the internet i want to get a good set.

I've heard somewhere that ranger weather stripping works better than stock as it is press on?? I think I remember that it was from a Ranger, not 100% sure

GMC Paul seems to have nice stuff. USA Made and lifetime gaurentee if I recall. Plus you can buy modern push on seals instead of the glue on if you prefer...

I should add that I just installed new door weather stripping on one of my doors. I got everything from Early Classic and everything fits good, gluing sucks though :-)

I have NOS, in the box, plus I also have aftermarket weatherstripping. I'm thinking the aftermarket will be fine for my use, but haven't yet decided to sell the NOS. Weighing my options......

If you are really cheap like me you can go to the salvage yard and get 1987-97 Dodge Dakota slide on weatherstrips. You will need to take a philips screwdriver, small hammer, a small pry bar, and a pick tool for cleaning out the heads on the philips screws in the sill plate to get them off. You can usually get a nice pair for under 10 bucks... You have to cut about three inches off of them. Be sure to get the connector that joins them at the seam. Sometimes it falls out when you remove them.

Also be aware that when installing different weatherstripping the doors may be tight when closing them. If the doors are too tight the door locks probably won't work. There is too much of a bind on the latches and it won't allow the lock actuators to engage. If the doors are too tight try moving the striker plate out a bit. Be sure and mark around it with a fine felt tip marker first so you can tell how far you have moved it. Only go about 1/16" at a time and don't let it move up or down, just out. It shouldn't take much if that's the problem.

These are the best, hands down. Just read the reviews here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=438649

You can buy new dodge strips for under 20.00 each also. its actually the same for the larger trucks just shorter. On the 65 I just found the one that fits the best from a chain of product samples. I spent under 30.00 for two and they worked fine
