Anyone have pictures of stepside modifications?

I have a '64 GMC short step, and I am curious what some people have done to make theirs different. Anybody have pictures? I'm looking for ideas. Thanks!

3" wider than stock fenders. Not all that uncommon, but I think it looks good.

Either or, I just don't want to stick to the stock look forever. I kinda like the look of the rounded end at the top of the side, near the tailgate (in picture, not my work).

Also, that looks pretty cool!

I added 59 Cadillac tail lights with hidden wiring running through the mounts. The shape of the brackets mimics the profile of the rear fenders.

I also added mini-tube bed rails on a Gaylord bed cover because the rails were extremely popular in my youth. Most recently a 1955 Buick grille bar and 67 Chevelle fender emblems have been installed. It’s also wearing a 62-66 Chevy hood with the parking bezels blacked out:

I’d love to build my own custom hood that drops the center section, like this rather pitiful photo chop. Unfortunately I’m not talented enough to fabricate something like this:

Back in the early 80's I put fleetside taillights in my stepside fenders.

Does anyone know if the 67-72 stepside fenders are wider than the 60-66 stepside fenders?

No. Unfortunately I have a '67 stepside box on my '64. I discovered this after a few years I bought the truck and was working on it. I had to do all the suspention and brakes before it was ready for the road. After I drove it outside and was looking at the truck, I was thinking to myself: Something is not right.
But it is not wider.
