Gift card mufflers
 

I received $100 in gift cards for O'Reilys for Christmas. I am going to use them to buy 2 mufflers for my 83, stock 305. I can bring them to the local shop and he will put them on with custom duals for $175. What mufflers should I get staying as close to or under my $100 card value?

thats a good deal, it cost me $175 to do it myself with 2 flowtech afterburners. the only mufflers my local o'reilys carry are thrush and flowmaster. i would go with the thrush turbos, i have never been a fan of flowmaster chambered mufflers, they rarely sound good

Cherry Bombs. Kidding. Not much of a selection with a $100 limit. Not around my area at least. Never heard of Walker brand mufflers.

The Thrush welded are priced right and sound good. (sound bite on their web site)

If your in rowlett you can drive to my area and have a complete true dual system done from front to rear for 150, then flowmasters are 60 each, glasspacks are 30 each, and etc. Use the gift card to buy tune up supplies and air freshners!!!

Thrush tubes do pretty well, i bought mine for 19.99. The good thing about o'reillys is that they can get it there the next morning if you order it.

THanks for the offer Grayharville, but the savings would be eaten up in gas driving down there. HOWEVER, if you have any knowledge of a good deer/hog lease, that drive would be no problem at all.
