Nice Burb on Ebay

This is probably as nice a survivor Burb as you will find. I do have some questions for the Burb guros though. This Burb is Custom not a Custom/deluxe and I notice it doesn't have a headliner or rear cargo area side panels. Is this the way the Customs came? Also does it make sense that the rest of the Burb is so nice and the steering wheel has detiorated so bad?

Looks very nice!
Are you bidding on it?

Chris, I should bid on it cause it is so original and nice. For me to spend the kind of money I'm sure the seller wants I want to get front and rear A/C and a Custom/Deluxe package, something like the green and white C20 Geoff Burdick picked up in November. I wouldn't want to pay anymore than 5000.00 at the outside for this Burb and the starting bid is 6500.00 with Reseve Not Met so I'm figuring the seller wants 8500.00 or so for it. I'm picky but also patient.

I wouldn't want it, the trim ring is missing from the cigarette lighter...:)..j/k.. That is a nice suburban any way you cut it. It is odd about the steering wheel though. I thought being out in the sun is what made them bad like that.

My burb won't be that nice even after being rebuilt...:(

If I hadn't just bought a 99' crewcab, I would seriously consider buying this truck. It's very nice and would match my Blazer:)

Why is it that it seems all the original low milage trucks etc do not have many options? Or at least it seems that way? :ito:

Nice Burb. How come I want to buy all of these originals? All I need is more money and more space!

Yes....get that truck. it already has a hitch and the best looking towing friendly mirrors (i can't see crap in my sport mirrors) so just get rid of those dated running boards and use it to haul the family and blazer to car shows. definitely a nice rig....just keep it stock for as it will make an awesome contrast to the blazer. most of us either have a resto, mod or a resto-mod....you will have both!

I wish!!! I'm pretty sure if I bought this puppy, I would have to live in it. Because my wife will divorce me for sure. She is an amazing lady but that would push her over the edge. :waah:

That is one nice burb. It was probably what the dealer in town had on the lot when the original owner decided he needed a burb to pull the new trailer he was buying. No high optioned special order rig or big block. Cleaned up and buffed out it would no doubt give the other rigs in the survivor or most original class a serious run for their money.

Nice burb. It is not missing the trim ring around the lighter, it has the lighter delete. I'm surprised it is not mentioned on the spid.

Positraction is nice. Good looking burb.

The auction is now over and it went to 7100. with the reserve not met. To me he should have let it go at 7100. cause that is lots for that Burb. If he watches the upcoming Barret-Jackson auction he'll probably want a couple of thousand more.

I help raise the bid to $7100. I just have too many projects.

Re: Nice Burb on Ebay

i paid $7500 for mine 3 years ago and it isn't as clean. had to talk the guy down for 8k. he's lucky i was so anxious to get that truck, 'cause it was on the market awhile!

just realized that truck has extensions on the mirrors just like my dad put on his 72 burb. makes me want to hitch up a (new triple axle airstream) and go traveling!
