Have a chance to pick this up in the am, 84 6.2 diesel, 700r, one very small rust bubble, needs batteries, tires. $900. Is it worth the $ with the diesel?

About 1.5 hr away though, should have it home in the afternoon and will post more pics

Adam just sold my sons 82 6.2 diesel for 1800 a few months back, the one your looking at look much cleaner.

That's the plan but I'm worried I might not be able to get rid of it because of the diesel. Then I'll have another project my wife says I don't need:lol:

Picked the truck up this morning, I'm glad I decided to buy it. Overall a pretty nice truck, only rust is a spot about 2" diameter behing the drivers rear wheel, needs a lot of cleaning, and a couple of minor things like door latch fixed, grille, tires, chrome trim...

I think I am going to list it for sale and if it doesnt sell in 2-3 weeks I might just pull the drivetrain/wheels tires out of my K5 that doesnt seem to be selling, sell the blazer as a roller, drive this since the paint isnt really too bad. I'll get some more pics tomorrow

That would be cool, but this truck wont get bags. I want something to cruise without ever having to worry about air leaks, compressor going out...

Hopefullu get some posted tomorrow, thought I had it sold local so I wasn't in too big of a rush.

Id let you have the 6.2 if you wanted to pick it up. I am pulling the 454 from my blazer next week if this doest sell and using the 700r behind it.

Here's a few pictures. I had enough time to get the drivers side waxed which made a huge difference before it started snowing so I'll have to get the passenger side done this weekend and I'll get the interior cleaned up a bit more also. I started pulling off the chrome trim on bottom but my rubber wheel died so I figured I'd bolt my Coys on and see how they look. I think It looks pretty good for the $$, it's got some hail damage on the hood and some small dings on the door and one of the bedside but not bad. I might even bolt some spindles and a flip on this weekend if the weather holds up.

Its posted, so is my blazer. I'm gonna keep whichever doesn't sell but I'm kind of meaning toward keeping this truck. Don't know why but I'm really liking this truck!
