I've been looking for a long time for one of these. I know shipping would be crazy, but now I have a good "IN" for shipping. Minor pitting/rust and bending is acceptable. So, dig through your junk, projects and pasture trucks! Thanks

You might want to PM member John Paskinski in Orlando. He had one of these on his C-30 and replaced it with a regular bumper. Not sure if it was factory, but it was pretty nice.

I know you want an OE one, but I have one made by Luverne on my 72 right now. I really don't think I want to use it for my build. It's in storage right now, but I could get some pics if you are interested.

Are there different variations on the grills for different years. From the first picture and the third picture ie the cross beams and location of vertical beams. Are these all factory or how do you tell what is factory. Thnaks

Try a PM to Sameyrasmea72 - I seem to recall seeing one at his place last time I visited.

I think the GMC guards are different because of the two headlights. Also, I've seen some early aftermarket ones too that are built with really heavy material. I'm holding out for a decent OE chevy one. :chevy:

That last one in your pics in front of the grey cabniet was mine. I had that for ever and no one wanted it. I finally sold it cheap to get it gone. I would have given it to you

It would still be stitting in the bed I got from you way back when. That bed is so far back in my barn, I haven't seen it years.

The guard would have been nice to have too! I didn't think it would take this long to get a good lead. Ol' well - :waah:

Thanks David

would something like this one work

Re: WTB: OE/GM Factory Brush Guard

if it is, it looks like the edges can come off so shipping could be saved a lil bit, wouldnt need such a big box, and you could just bolt it back together

D.PASSMORE 10-07-2012 05:11 PM

Re: WTB: OE/GM Factory Brush Guard

Yeah, that looks close, can you send me a few pictures to my email address? I would like to see how it is bolted up. It looks AM, dose it have a brand name on it. Thanks
