71 402 long block

Casting number 3999290 and heads 6272292. Block has never been rebuilt. Will include factory big block valve covers.

I have a photo of the heads. The short block is at my brothers in Terrell. He might be able to text photos of the block and I can post photos of the heads. He would be closer for pick up anyway. The motor was purchased from another board member bobvilla.

I have a 1997 5.7 take out of a pickup complete with intake etc. Will this work?

Do you know if it is rebuildable or has any known problems? And are you sure it is a 97 because that would mean it is a vortec?
