My Collection

I've been collecting diecast cars and trucks for about 15 years now. I have mostly Danbury and Franklin Mint cars, trucks and a few Harleys. I'm taking pictures of them all for insurance purposes and thought I'd share the pics with you folks as I go.

Toys! I love toys, ok not toys but collectables. Everyone calls them toys though. I collect too but more farm equipment than cars and trucks. Dont get me wrong I have a few but the farm collection far surpasses the car and truck collection.

Nice collection. I went nuts on that Franklin and Danbury Mint stuff, too. I got anything GM Truck,of course, but also the whole history of the Corvette and history of the American pickup as well as a bunch of the GM cars.I've sold off most except the GM Trucks.
Is that '57 Chevy convertible Silver? What color is the interior? I wish I had gotten that color.I got the first version that was blue.My buddy has a real silver '57 convertible barn find and I gave him my replica.I was going to repaint it silver but the interior would be hard to do right.

Tim, yes the 57 Chev Rag is Silver and the interior is red. It came out in 2002 as a Limited Edition of 5000 and sold out very quickly.

I'm proud of my collection and its taken a lot of years and yes, money to build. I've made a lot of payments to the Danbury Mint over the years. Here are few more I gotten around to taking pics of and still have few more to do.

Rod and Custom Dream Truck! I remember when it was new and in the little pages of R&C...then, it got wrecked. Nice collection, Greg.

Thanks for the compliments. I have more like Highway61 72 Chevys and a bunch of 1:64, 1:32 and 1:43's as well but haven't had time to set them up for pictures yet. In the attached pic I used the trailers I have to show some Chevys towing.

Thank you Already Gone.

Your welcome and I'm glad you enjoyed them. Being a car guy I feel the Dan and Frank 1:24th diecast are works of art ,like paintings, and I love being surrounded by them in my den.
