66 4x4 rims
Where is a good place to look for stock tires and rims for my 66 k-10? Is there any place that makes reproductions? What is the factory size rims, tires, offset? Thanks in advance.:chevy:

Re: 66 4x4 rims
There were 15" 16" and 17.5" wheels available.
You can get High Traction tires from Coker for the 17.5". I converted mine to 17" for better tire selection and went with a General Altimax Artic for plowing snow. I don't anticipate putting a lot of mileage on them so they should be fine for the summer as well. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-f...0/image0-5.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-3...0/DCP00956.JPG 17" conversions on the rear with 16" temporary rollers on the front. Sold them to clemdaddy. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Q...0/DCP01159.JPG |

I have no power steering, I think skinny tires might help with parking lots

Re: 66 4x4 rims
Used to turn in parking lots only when in motion with 39" x 10" tires on my old 62 K10. It's hard on the original steering box with the wider tires.

Re: 66 4x4 rims
actually it is harder on the frame and of course some boys may not be able to turn the steering wheel unless the truck is in motion
