'72 Chevy

Anyone know if headliners where standard in all '72 K20s, or if it was an option and if so what was the 3 alphanumeric code that I should find on the glove compartment Service Parts Identification sheet? My father had the truck repainted back in the late 80s but I do not remember if there was a headliner before the re-paint, as there is not one now. Just trying to properly restore the truck back to stock.

Re: '72 Chevy

It would be standard on a cheyenne/ super or sierra/ grande. If there are no holes in the roof, it didn't have one.

if it had a h/liner in it it would have a bunch of holes in the roof from screws and tabs from the trim

My '72 K20 is virtually original, and never had a headliner.

Copy all, no holes in the roof = no headliner. That is what I thought as well, the truck has been in the family now for 3 generations, but not a lot of photos. Thanks for the help.
