noise when in 4wd?

im getting a low growling noise when turning sharp in 4wd. my truck is and 01 1500 z71. is this normal? bolth hubs were replaced about 6 months ago

Kinda normal for a 4wd to not feel quite right at full steering lock on a hard surface, too much binding. First thing to check is your fluid levels and just a general inspection. Cheapo hubs can still cause problems.
