eBay is your best bet or your local Craigslist

Also swap meets. Just a warning, they are not cheap and you gotta make sure they are clear with the dmv.

I talked to a guy at the Turkey Rod Run in Dayton Beach who had a ton. I got several from him. Let me check tonight I think I still have his card.

There's a couple of guys out at the Pomona swap meet that sell them. Find one that looks established and will guarantee that they are clear.

A friend bought a car pair last weekend. Paid about $200 for them and another $40 for a YOM sticker. Haven't had a chance to see if they're clear yet.

I just registered mine last week. In Arizona they have the YOM (year of manufacture) program. If your state allows them, they are treated like vanity plates as long as the plate number is cleared with DMV. I paid $80.00 for my 69-72 license plates, here is the email address for the guy I bought mine from. weechie@cox.net. He lives in Tucson, but I think he has out of state plates too. It's worth a try!

I just did a quick search on eBay and found half dozen nice DMV cleared sets. Assume you know you need the truck config plate and a validation sticker for the year of your truck.

I have some off my 69 camaro that was from california when I lived there, the car was sold with az plates and went to New York. The last registration sticker was 1975. Car sat in a field for some 30yrs. They were some of the last sets for 69, as they start with a "Z"
