help cross member
 

ok i hope some one can tell me how many crossmembers there are i have two one under the transfer case and one under the trans on my blazer and what is funny bout this is ive seen alot of the blazers that were all lifted the only have one and its on the trasfer case

You should have only 1 crossmember (at least that's how my 79 blazer is) it's what the transfer case adaptor (between trans and t-case) bolts to. Owner before you might have put one in to act as a skid plate.

you will have two if your blazer is like mine. I think it was for a skid plate or something because it doesn't have anything else hooked to it.

well im pulling the one off cause i dont need it and it messing with the lift

pull the one under the transmission, not the one under the transfer case, or.,,,,,
