Finally got her top off..

I thought I would get you attention. I finally got the floors and rocker boxes all finished. It seen like it took forever but I just kept moving along. Today I got out the sawall and cut the top into pieces. Looks like I got lucky with the windshield frame, I was worried about what was under there. Next step will be to remove the Quarters and bed and install the near perfect new ones.

Looks good to me! So, are those '73 wheel well houses welded in at the top, or bolted in?

Wait till you try and cut the old bed out, gonna be fun. Do you have a pair of electric tin shears. I have a set of milwaukee if you need them

Whered ya find the floor section?

Hey Jim, The wheel wells have both, I'm going to take a sawzall to cut up the floor into smaller pieces. I got the bed and quarters from Dusty. I'm getting the underside of the new bed cleaned up and can't decide whether to paint it satin black or use bed liner. It's going to be a driver, rain or shine but i'll keep it in the garage.

JMHO!, but, i think a bedliner or undercoating would work great in that application....sure is going to be noisy in your workshop, SAWSALL:-)
