Ideas for 1968 GMC fleet side vanity plate
 

I want to get a vanity plate for my black 68 GMC fleet side half ton pickup truck.

The rules for vanity plates in my state are that there can be no more than six characters, begins with at least 2 letters, only numbers and letters, and cannot have letters and numbers intermixed.

My first choice is "GMC 68" but that's taken. I am looking for other ideas.

Not applicable to the truck, but this was my favorite... for my twin-turbo V12 Mercedes. Unfortunately it went with the car when I traded it in. Wouldn't pass the rules in your state either!

Our forms allow you to list something live 5 choices and you get the first one available. You could start with the long-shots like "GMC" in the event no one has it, then "1968 GMC" and "68 GMC" and so on down the line.

How about 6T8 GMC

Whoops, I just read your first post and with Washington States rules I guess you can' use what I suggested 6T8 GMC

I still can' figure out why they wouldn't let me put MY HOE on my Tahoe......

Since GMCs are actually called Widesides and not Fleetsides,how about WIDE68?

Thanks guys, some great suggestions. I am going to go with GMCOOL. It matches my Camaro plate; Cool 69.

Good choice. Man,I was thinking how inflexible your state is after reading this post. Out tags have up to 7 characters,so they allow 7 on vanity plates. They also allow numbers before letters,letters before numbers,or any combination letters & numbers. Why be so limiting??...sheesh
