Ext Cab door?

Hey guys I need schooled on these trucks. What year did both ext. cab doors open? I've been looking at used trucks on-line and can't figure it out. Thanks, Nate

Was the driver door an option for some model years and did it go straight to stardard equipment for both doors? Thanks, Nate

Don't quote me on this, but from what I have seen: 99, 3 door only. 00-02, 4 door optional. 03+ 4 door only.

early 2000 = 3 door.midyear = 4 door. i bought my 2000 gmc in december of 1999 and have 3 doors.i remember about april or may of 2000 you could get a 4 door.

^I'll go a little further. It's been quite a while since I read all of this... but I believe 99 was 3 doors only, early 00 was 3 door then 4 door became optional, and in 2001 the 4 door ext cab became standard. My 2000 is a 3 door.
